Tier 3 Associate Physiotherapist
Danielle is an experienced sports physiotherapist who has worked with a wide variety of athletes from a range of disciplines from the beginning of her career. Having obtained her Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2009, Danielle began her career in South Australia’s public heath system. Danielle returned to the University of South Australia in 2010 and obtained her Masters of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
From 2010-2012 Danielle moved into private practice with a full-time sports focus. Working with the Pembroke First XVIII team and the Woodville West Torrens SANFL U/18 team, she also toured with the Australian U/18 Softball Development Squad annually over four years.
In 2012, Danielle joined the team of Physiotherapists at the House of Dancing Water in Macau, a renowned acrobatic performance featuring over 90 artists. In her two years with the show, Danielle was responsible for injury prevention, management and rehabilitation for acrobats, divers, dancers and motocross riders as well as acting as emergency stand-by during performances. In 2014, Danielle moved to Hong Kong. Working with Pinnacle Performance (a high level strength and conditioning gym) and Sports Physiotherapy International, she has continued to expand her experience in various sports. Over the last two years she has worked with the HK National Men’s and Women’s cricket team as their rehabilitation Physiotherapist, worked alongside coaching staff to create a screening protocol for the Hong Kong Golf Association Elite Development Squad to identify common injuries and adapt training programs, traveled to Shanghai with the HK National Touch Rugby team, been tour physio for over 10 of the various ITF and WTA Junior and Open Tournaments with the Hong Kong Tennis Association and this is just to name a few.
Danielle has now returned to Adelaide with the myPhysioSA team seeking a fresh challenge.
