About Zak
Zak is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who graduated from Flinders University with a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology degree following on from a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science degree. Growing up in a small country town, sport and physical activity was a major part of Zak’s lifestyle and from an early age a career pathway helping others remain active and healthy through exercise was imagined.
Zak has prior experience in the fitness industry, primarily working with older populations promoting exercise as a valuable mechanism to improve overall health and wellbeing.
He is passionate about collaborating with clients to determine their needs and goals, promoting positive behaviour change, and using the best evidence to find the optimal approach to create an effective individualised exercise program achieving positive, long term overall health and quality of life outcomes.
Outside of the clinic Zak enjoys playing cricket for his local team the Mannum Kookaburras, following Port Adelaide in the AFL, spending time with friends and family, and keeping active in the gym or playing with his dog.
