Why do Postnatal classes with a Physio?

Physios have completed a University Degree to learn all about the human body and Women’s Health Physios have done extra training to understand the changes in your body that happen during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.

It is important to build your return to exercise gradually after childbirth. The physiotherapists at myPhysioSA understand the typical aches and pains that postnatal women may be experiencing, and also the importance of preventing strain to the abdominal and pelvic floor muscles which are particularly vulnerable to injury during this time.

We know that safe exercise options are so important for new mums – for both mental and physical wellbeing. We are truly passionate about guiding women through the postnatal rehabilitation process to ensure they are feeling fit and strong while caring for their newborn.
